The Money Drop Game

Davina McCall is probably most well know for her role as host in the UK reality series “Big Brother”, but in 2010 she also began hosting one of channel 4s most popular quiz shows The Million Pound Drop Live.

The format of the show was unlike anything every seen on television in that contestants have the opportunity to win one million pounds. To win the money the contestants have to answer multiple choice questions selected from two catagories, and have to place amounts of money on there possible answers, depending on how sure they are of the answer, If they are not entirely sure of which is the correct answer they can opt to place smaller amounts on any of the available answers. If they place money on the incorrect answer it drops through a trapdoor and is lost and the next round will follow using the remaining funds available to the contestant. If after five rounds of questions the contestant has any remain money left that is the prize won for that particular contestant.

Bet365 are the only website to offer a web based version of this hugely popular show in the form of The Money Drop Game. The format is virtually identical to the television version, if not slightly easier. The questions faced by contestants in the television version have been removed to make the game easier to play and instead players simply have to wager on which drawer will not drop through the five levels. The option to make the game even easier is available by choosing between two or four drawers per level and between two and five rounds of play. The amounts of money that can be won do vary on these settings but the option to make the game easier is a great idea if you are not familiar with how the game is played.

The graphics are clean and easy to understand and the layout is not unlike that of the television show, but the lack of questions on The Money Drop Game definately improves playablility.
